Sligo Rovers were the busiest club on the League of Ireland’s domestic transfer day yesterday.

Vinnie Faherty is leaving his hometown club Galway United after agreeing a deal with Sligo Rovers,  while Greg Moorhouse joins the Bit O’Red from Glenavon and Jamie McDonagh from Morton.

Galway United also added to their squad, with 20-year old striker Jonah Ayunga signing on loan from Brighton, after his loan at Sligo came to a close.

Galway’s highly-rated defender Lee Grace goes to Shamrock Rovers.
