Design team for new Medical Rehabilitation Unit at Roscommon University Hospital will be appointed in first quarter of 2018
The design team for the €7.85m Medical Rehabilitation Unit at Roscommon University Hospital will be appointed in the first quarter of 2018.
That news was confirmed to Roscommon Fine Gael Senator Frank Feighan by the Minister of State at the Department of Health Jim Daly.
Minister Daly said the procurement process for the 20-bed unit design team is ongoing and it’s expected the team will be appointed in the first quarter of next year.
Senator Feighan also raised the issue of traffic congestion and parking difficulties at Roscommon Hospital due to increased activity and Minister Daly said this issue will be addressed as part of the planning application for the Rehab Unit.
