Mayo pensioner collects 50,000 euro scratch card prize

A Co Mayo pensioner made her first trip to Dublin in over 20 years today, to pick up her 50,000 euro winnings on a National Bingo Times 10 scratch card.
The woman travelled from Ballina to Dublin with her daughter and other family members to collect her prize.
The pensioner said she buys the Bingo Times 10 scratch card regularly and has won smaller amounts before, but is delighted with this prize of 50,000 euro.
She’s planning her first visit to Dublin Zoo, along with her grand-daughter, and said she will look after her family with the winnings, as well as paying off her mortgage.
