Man dies in crash outside Dunmore in County Galway

A 21 year old man has been fatally injured in a crash in County Galway.
The two car collision happened on the N83 Tuam to Dunmore road at Carrowmhuineagh at around 8.30pm yesterday.
A 21year old male passenger also received minor injuries while the 74 year old male driver and two female passengers aged 70 and a 2 year old child in the second car were also injured.
The stretch of road will remain closed until at least midday as Gardai carry out a technical examination of the scene.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
