Two Mayo companies have won a new contract to supply Aldi’s 137 stores through its Grow with Aldi supplier development programme.

Their exciting products will now go on sale nationwide as part of an Aldi Specialbuys event, kicking off 6th June.

The Little Shepherd of Claremorris and Cabots of Westport successfully won a place on the Grow with Aldi supplier development programme.

The Little Shepherd’s Little Shepherd Sheep’s Cheese and Cabots of Westport’s range of artisan sauces will be available on Aldi’s shelves.

The Little Shepherd produces a range of handmade natural sheep’s milk yogurts and cheeses, made on the family farm where the Flanagan family have been farming for generations. Velvet Cloud’s Sheep’s Cheese is a full flavour nutty, robust tasting sheep’s cheese, aged for a minimum of 90 days.

Cabots of Westport is a family-run business producing fresh food sauces from the West of Ireland. Handmade with no artificial additives or flavourings, these sauces have become a local hit and will now become a nationwide favourite thanks to this new deal with Aldi.
