A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Connacht for tomorrow night and into Saturday morning, as Storm Hannah reaches Ireland.

Met Eireann has issued a status yellow warning for Connacht, the north-west and parts of the midlands and south Leinster from 11pm tomorrow night until 9am Saturday morning, with gusts of 90-110 km/ hour in these areas.

Counties Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick can expect stronger winds, and a status orange warning is in place for these counties with gusts of up to 130 km/hour.
