The West of Ireland can expect a very wet and windy night tonight, with heavy rain and southwest gales.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning from 10pm tonight until 12 noon tomorrow for Connacht with gusts of up to 110 km/h - strongest near coasts.
And a status orange wind warning is in place for counties Mayo and Donegal for the early hours of tomorrow morning.
The warning is for coastal regions and high ground in both counties, with gusts of 110 to 130 km/h.
There's also a risk of coastal damage on exposed northwest coasts, due to a combination of winds, high spring tides and high storm surge.
The level orange warning is valid from 1am tomorrow morning until 8am.
