20 new jobs have been created with the opening of a new Aldi store in Ballinrobe today.Featuring Aldi’s award-winning Project Fresh layout and design, the new store boasts a large shop floor spanning 987m², 71 free car parking spaces, wide aisles and hi-spec fixtures and fittings.
The new Ballinrobe store is Aldi’s third store in Co. Mayo. Aldi now has a total of 133 stores in Ireland, with the other locations being Castlebar and Claremorris.
The new store is part of Aldi’s €160m investment in its Irish store network. Aldi has committed €100m to constructing and opening 20 new stores by the end of 2019, while Project Fresh sees Aldi invest a further €60m in revamping the layout and design of all its 133 stores nationwide.
