Insurance premium costs are being cited as one of the reasons for the imminent closure of Bosh in Castlebar. One of the county’s most popular bar /restaurants is now up for sale.
According to today’s Connaught Telegraph, Michael and Mary McDonnell owners of the extensive premises on Linenhall street, confirmed that their award winning business will close within the next number of weeks.
In a statement to the paper they say they decided with rising costs and substantial insurance premiums , to put the business up for sale. Adding they came to their decision after serious consideration.
They have owned and run the business in the county town for 14 years.
