A global software company is establishing an Innovation Centre in Sligo, with the creation of up to 50 jobs.

LiveTiles, which is headquartered in New York, has announced it will establish an Intelligent Innovation Centre in Sligo to support the further development of its design and artificial intelligence products.

IDA Ireland says up to 50 jobs will be created.

The Minister for Business & Enterprise Heather Humphreys welcomed the announcement and says it’s a great vote of confidence in Sligo and the Northwest region.

LiveTiles CEO Karl Redenbach says they’re excited about establishing a new centre in Sligo, as there’s an up-and-coming technology scene here, and they look forward to working with technology businesses, universities and Microsoft in Ireland to expand their AI agenda.
