Saturday 5th May has been designated Mayo Day 2018.

This is the fourth year of Mayo Day, which celebrates Mayo and its people, here and abroad.

In recent years, activities have taken place locally, nationally and internationally to celebrate Mayo Day, and this year the Mayo Day flagship event, called “Made of Mayo” will be held at Ballinrobe Racecourse.

The event will showcase Mayo food produce, craft and design alongside an art exhibition, live music and a family festival.

“Made of Mayo” will be a free event for families on 5th May, and was launched at Ballinrobe Racecourse today.
